(NEXSTAR) — Colorado may be known for its 14ers, but you can't overlook the Denver skyline, especially one specific building. If you're one of the roughly 265,000 people who moved to the Centennial State last year, you may not be entirely versed in Denver's skyline. Have you ever noticed that throughout most of the Mile High City, you can still see the Rockies? That's intentional. Denver doesn't restrict building height, but it does have rules against blocking the view of the mountains in some places. The plane ordinances in the city ultimately protect east and west views. This one hits differently. The Chicago Bears have blown fourth-quarter leads under coach Matt Eberflus before. They had a doozy of a meltdown seven weeks ago when they led Denver 28-7 with a little more than 15 minutes to play at Soldier Field. The Broncos scored the final 24 points to escape with a victory. The Broncos are middle of the pack, at best. More than halfway through their second season, the group can’t point to a signature win.Improvements have been made — and the Bears are showing some strides — but progress that matters comes in the form of victories and getting one here against the NFC North-leading Lions would have been progress for Eberflus.
